Linh Ung pagoda, which is located on Son Tra Peninsula, is the first stop of this tour. Linh Ung pagoda is about 10km to the Northeast of Danang, at an altitude of 693m above the sea level. Local people in Danang call this pagoda “the present given by the nature”. Covered by an immense primordial forest, Linh Ung pagoda is a splendid Buddhist architectural work, which keeps the convergence of the Universe.
After Son Tra Peninsula, Marble Mountains is the next attractive place that you will arrive. Located 8km from the South East of Danang, Marble Mountains are the cluster of 5 mountains corresponding with 5 elements of the Universe (Metal – Wood – Water – Fire – Earth). You can discover the caves system and pagodas here, and visit the traditional stone sculptures and handicrafts village in the foot of the mountain as well.
The Water Mount of this cluster has a large and unique caves system, made up for millions years of tectonic activity. Among these caves, Huyen Khong cave is the most beautiful and famous one. Besides the caves, there are a lot of ancient pagodas that you can find on the Water Mount. Most of the pagodas here lean against the mountain, bearing the cultural mark in the early 19th century and Cham sculpture in the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries.
Saying good bye to Danang, we take you to Hoian – one of the most famous ancient towns of Vietnam. This town will make you astonished at its view of the local life as in a canvas, with the ancient houses, the assembly halls, pagodas and ancestral temples. It can be said that, Hoian keeps the memories from hundred years ago, which can make visitors feel very peaceful.
Hoi An used to be the busiest port of the Central area of Vietnam, a land that was chosen by many traders to trade as well as to settle down. Joining this Hoian – Marble Mountains tour with Dacotours, you will be able to get rid of all the worries of your daily life, and to comfort your mind with the scenery of the ancient houses and the lights sparkling night.
