Ba Na Hills, Da Nang City & Epic Hoi An Old Town Tour in 2 Days

Day 1: Da Nang to Hoi An – Temples, Mountains & Ancient Town

1:30 PM – Start: Hotel pickup in Da Nang
Your guide will meet you at your hotel or the meeting point in Da Nang. Settle in for an afternoon of scenic sights & cultural landmarks as you travel along the coast toward Hoi An.

Stop 1 – Linh Ung Pagoda & Lady Buddha
Begin your journey at Linh Ung Pagoda on Son Tra Peninsula. This impressive temple complex is known for its towering 67-meter Lady Buddha statue and panoramic views over Da Nang Bay. It’s a peaceful spot to learn about local Buddhism & take in sweeping sea and city views.

Stop 2 – Marble Mountains & Stone Carving Village
Continue to the Marble Mountains, a cluster of limestone hills filled with caves, pagodas, and shrines. Climb up to discover hidden sanctuaries & admire the natural stone formations.

At the base of the mountain, visit the Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village, where local artisans have been crafting marble sculptures for generations.

Stop 3 – Explore Hoi An Ancient Town
Afterwards, drive onward to Hoi An, a beautifully preserved port town recognized by UNESCO. Wander through narrow streets lined with wooden shophouses, historic assembly halls, and the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge. It’s like stepping back in time, with architecture that reflects centuries of trade & cultural exchange.

Evening – Lantern-lit Hoi An & Dinner
As night falls, Hoi An transforms into a glowing maze of colorful lanterns. Browse local handicrafts & souvenirs at the night market, then sit down for a relaxed dinner featuring Hoi An specialties.

Around 9:00 PM, return to Da Nang.

Day 2: Ba Na Hills & Golden Bridge

7:30 AM – Start: Pickup from hotel
Get an early start with a hotel pickup in Da Nang. Head toward the mountains for a full day exploring Ba Na Hills – one of Vietnam’s most famous hill resorts.

Stop 1 – Cable Car to the clouds
Ride the record-breaking Ba Na Hills cable car, ranked among the world’s most impressive by CNN. Glide high above the forest canopy & enjoy stunning views of the coastline & mountain peaks as you ascend.

Stop 2 – Walk the Golden Bridge
At the top, step onto the Golden Bridge, a stunning structure held up by two giant stone hands emerging from the mountainside. This 150-meter walkway offers incredible photo opportunities & panoramic views across the valley below.

Stop 3 – Le Jardin D’Amour Gardens & Linh Ung Pagoda
Continue exploring the beautifully landscaped Le Jardin D’Amour Gardens, a collection of nine themed gardens each with its own character & charm.

Nearby, visit the Ba Na Linh Ung Pagoda, home to a 27-meter-tall Buddha statue that watches over the mountain.

Break – Buffet Lunch on the Hills
At 12:00, refuel with a buffet lunch at one of the mountain’s top restaurants, featuring more than 80 dishes from both Vietnamese & international cuisines.

Stop 4 – French Village & Fantasy Park
In the afternoon, explore the French Village, a whimsical area designed to resemble a medieval European town complete with castles, churches, and cobblestone streets.

Then, have some fun at Fantasy Park, Vietnam’s largest indoor amusement park, where you can try family-friendly rides or adrenaline-filled attractions.

5:00 PM – End: Return to Da Nang
After a full day of adventure & incredible views, take the cable car back down the mountain. Your driver will bring you back to your hotel in Da Nang, arriving around 5:00 PM.
