Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi & city highlights

Start: Airport pick-up & warm welcome
Arrive in Hanoi & meet your local guide at the airport. Enjoy a smooth transfer into the city, with clear assistance to help you settle in comfortably after the flight.

Midday: Lunch & first impressions
Have lunch at a local restaurant, then begin discovering Hanoi with helpful explanations from your guide about the city’s history, culture & daily life.

Stop 1: Temple of Literature
Visit the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first national university, where Confucian values shaped education & society from the 11th century onward.

Stop 2: Old Quarter cyclo ride
Relax on a one-hour cyclo ride around Hoan Kiem Lake & through the Old Quarter, passing lively streets, everyday local scenes & Dong Xuan Market, the city’s largest traditional market.

Stop 3: Religious & colonial landmarks
Stop at Al-Noor Mosque, the only mosque in Hanoi, then continue to St. Joseph’s Cathedral, a French-era landmark surrounded by cafés & street food stalls popular with locals.

Break: Egg coffee experience
Pause to enjoy Hanoi’s famous egg coffee, a unique local specialty closely linked to the city’s café culture.

End: Water Puppet Show & dinner
End the day with a traditional Water Puppet Show, a captivating Northern Vietnamese art form, followed by dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 2: Ninh Binh day trip – pagodas, caves & ancient capital

Morning: Drive to Ninh Binh
After breakfast, meet your guide at 8:30 AM and travel about 110 km by modern bus through green countryside toward Ninh Binh. A short break is made along the way.

Stop 1: Bai Dinh Pagoda complex
Arrive at Bai Dinh Pagoda, the largest pagoda complex in Southeast Asia. Explore key highlights such as the 500 Arhat statues, two massive bronze bells, the Quan Yin statue with a thousand arms & eyes & the impressive Gautama Buddha statue, all set against dramatic limestone scenery.

Lunch: Local cuisine
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant featuring regional specialties.

Stop 2: Trang An boat journey
Continue to Trang An, a UNESCO-recognized landscape often called “Halong Bay on land.” Board a traditional sampan and gently glide through rivers, caves & temples, passing sites such as Lam Cave, Vang Cave, Dai Cave, Thanh Truot Cave, Cao Son Temple, Suoi Tien Temple & Vu Lam Temple.

Stop 3: Hoa Lu Ancient Capital
Visit Hoa Lu, Vietnam’s ancient capital from the 10th century. Learn about King Dinh Bo Linh & the early foundations of the Vietnamese state.

End: Return to Hanoi
Late afternoon transfer back to Hanoi. Evening free to explore the city at your own pace.
Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 3: Halong Bay cruise & departure

Morning: Transfer to Halong Bay
After breakfast, a cruise shuttle bus with guide picks you up from the meeting point for the journey to Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Northern Vietnam.

Midday: Cruise check-in & lunch
Welcome onboard a deluxe Halong Bay cruise. Enjoy lunch as the boat sails among limestone islands rising from emerald waters.

Afternoon: Halong Bay exploration
Spend time enjoying cruise activities such as sightseeing, relaxing on deck or optional experiences depending on the cruise itinerary (swimsuits recommended). The crew ensures a smooth & comfortable experience.

End: Return & airport drop-off
After the cruise program, meet your driver for the transfer directly to the airport for your departure flight.
