Day 1: Welcome to Saigon & the Historic Cu Chi Tunnels

Start – Airport pickup & lunch
From the moment you land in Saigon, our guide is already waiting to welcome you with a warm smile.

We take care of everything – luggage, transport, lunch – so you can settle in comfortably before checking into your hotel. No stress, no rushing.

Afternoon – Explore the iconic Cu Chi Tunnels
Drive out of the city for about 1.5 hours to reach the Cu Chi Tunnels, one of Vietnam’s most meaningful historical sites.

You’ll start with a short introduction video to understand how the tunnels were built & how locals survived underground during wartime – a story of resilience that surprises many travelers.

Then comes the most exciting part: exploring the actual tunnels. Walk through areas that once served as underground kitchens, meeting rooms, weapon workshops, field hospitals & hidden trapdoors.

Your guide will explain the clever techniques used to protect the tunnels and keep people alive during the harshest years.

Break – Tea, cassava & optional shooting range
Enjoy a simple but meaningful snack of tea & cassava, the daily food of guerrilla soldiers.

Afterward, take a moment to rest or join the optional shooting range for a real-life experience (completely optional).

Evening – Dinner & relax
Your guide brings you to a local restaurant for dinner before returning to the hotel.
A smooth, well-paced first day to help you settle into Vietnam.

Day 2: Peaceful Mekong Delta – Coconut Gardens, Sampan Ride & Local Life

Morning – Travel to My Tho & board the boat
After breakfast, drive to the Mekong Delta – the land of rivers, orchards & floating life.

From My Tho, take a motorboat to Con Lan Island, where the atmosphere immediately feels calmer and slower.

Island visit – Honey tea, fruit orchards & village walk
Visit a small honey farm, sip warm honey tea, taste fruit jam & stroll through quiet village pathways.
This is where you truly see how peaceful daily life in the Mekong can be.

Cultural stop – Fruits & Tai Tu music
Sit down at a local garden to enjoy freshly picked fruits while listening to traditional Tai Tu folk music, a soulful melody deeply rooted in Southwest culture.

Sampan – Row through coconut canals
The highlight for many guests: a sampan ride through narrow coconut-lined canals.
It’s slow, peaceful, and incredibly scenic – the kind of moment that makes you feel far away from city noise.

Visit – Coconut candy workshop
Stop by a family-run workshop to watch how coconut candy is made. A simple but surprisingly fun experience, especially for travelers curious about local crafts.

Lunch – Mekong specialties
Enjoy a Vietnamese lunch with regional dishes before continuing.

Afternoon – Visit Vinh Trang Pagoda & return to Saigon
Explore Vinh Trang Pagoda, known for its large Buddha statues, peaceful gardens & unique blend of Asian-European architecture.

After the visit, return to your hotel in Saigon.

Day 3: Saigon City Landmarks & Departure

Morning – Saigon’s top historic sites
After breakfast, visit the city’s most famous landmarks:
– Independence Palace
– Notre Dame Cathedral
– Central Post Office

These locations give you a complete picture of Saigon’s cultural mix – wartime history, French colonial architecture & local spirituality, all in one morning.

Lunch – Local restaurant
Enjoy lunch before getting ready for departure.

End – Airport transfer
Our driver will take you to the airport with plenty of time for your flight. We take care of the logistics so you can enjoy a smooth, stress-free last day.
