You visit major highlights such as the long corridor of 500 stone Arhat statues, two giant bronze bells weighing 27 & 36 tons, the multi-armed Quan Yin statue & the towering Gautama Buddha statue.
• Option 2: Hoa Lu ancient capital
If you choose the Hoa Lu option, you’ll visit the temples dedicated to King Dinh & King Le, both part of Vietnam’s ancient capital dating back to the 10th century. This stop gives you a quick, interesting look into the country’s early dynasties.

12:00: Local Vietnamese lunch
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant featuring regional dishes. The meal is simple, fresh & a good break before the afternoon activities.

Afternoon: Trang An sampan boat trip
Continue to Trang An, a dramatic landscape of limestone mountains rising straight from the rice fields.

Board a traditional sampan rowed through linked cave tunnels, quiet valleys & small temple sites such as Cao Son, Suoi Tien & Vu Lam. The scenery feels untouched & peaceful, and the caves make the ride even more memorable.

15:30: Mua Cave viewpoint hike
Head to Mua Cave & begin the climb to the summit of Ngoa Long Mountain. The steps are steep but short, and once at the top, you get a panoramic view over rice fields, cliffs & winding rivers – one of the most famous views in Ninh Binh.
