Full Day Bai Dinh Pagoda & Trang An Boat Tour from Hanoi

Start: Hotel pickup in Hanoi
Your guide picks you up between 07:30–08:00 and you begin the drive toward Ninh Binh. Settle into the bus as you leave Hanoi’s busy streets behind & move into quieter countryside landscapes.

Break: Short rest stop
Around 09:15, take a 15–20 minute break to stretch, grab a drink or use the restroom before continuing the journey.

Morning: Bai Dinh Pagoda complex
Arrive at Bai Dinh, the largest pagoda complex in Southeast Asia.

Your visit covers the most important highlights, including the long corridor of 500 stone Arhat statues, the huge bronze bell weighing 36 tons & the impressive 100-ton Buddha statue. The area is spacious & scenic, offering wide views of surrounding limestone mountains.

12:30: Local buffet lunch

Afternoon: Trang An boat trip
Continue to Trang An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its cave tunnels & dramatic limestone landscape. Board a traditional sampan for a 2.5-hour boat trip through calm river sections, cave systems & valley views – a setting so striking it was chosen as a filming location for Kong: Skull Island.

End: Return to Hanoi
